How to Identify and Care for an Adorable Fuchsia
- 1). Identify the Adorable Fuchsia by its single blossoms. The blossoms have an orange corolla with deep rose-red sepals. The foliage consists of small, deciduous leaves that are ovate and green. This plant can grow up to 6 feet high and 3 feet wide. It blooms in late summer to early fall. The showy blooms are shades of orange and red.
- 2). Plant the Adorable Fuchsia in sandy loam to loam with a pH of 5 to 7. Keep the soil moist--it should be watered at least 1 inch every week. If you notice the soil starting to dry out before the next weekly watering time, water it deeply again. The soil should be moist to about 18 inches.
- 3). Fertilize the Adorable Fuchsia with a water-soluble, quick-release fertilizer or an organic fertilizer such as fish emulsion, if this plant is being grown as an annual.
