Dig up the soil 4 to 5 inches down in the selected planting location. A good location is one that receives full sun or only partial shade and is free from other heavy growth. - 2). Mix in an equal amount of manure or compost to the soil that has been dug up.
- 3). Scatter the Shasta daisy seeds around the area to be planted. One ounce of seeds will cover approximately 545 square feet.
- 4). Cover the seeds with 1/4 inch of soil and water lightly with a sprinkler.
- 5). Water the site twice a week, doing so gently to avoid washing the seeds away. Seedlings will appear in less than two weeks.
