How to Make Family Trees
- 1). Draw a box on unlined paper, centered at the bottom. Write your name, birth date and birth place inside the box.
- 2). Draw a "T" shape, centered at the box's top.
- 3). Draw a box centered at the "T" shape's left end. Write your father's name, birth date and place.
- 4). Draw a box centered at the "T" shape's right end. Write your mother's name, birth date and place.
- 5). Draw "T" shapes, centered at both new box tops.
- 6). Draw a box at each "T"'s end connected to your father's name. In the left box, write his father's name and in the right box, write his mother's name, birth date and place.
- 7). Draw a box at each "T"'s end connected to your mother's name. In the left box, write her father's name and in the right box, write her mother's name, birth date and place.
- 8). Repeat steps 6 and 7 to add generations to your family tree.
