How to Use Three Screws to Calibrate a Precision Level

    • 1). Place the level on the machine. This will tell you how "off" the level of the machine is so that you know how much adjusting it needs. The machine is on floor jacks for easy maneuvering, but those jacks can shift slightly over time, throwing the machine out of balance.

    • 2). Look underneath the machine. It needs to be far enough off the ground so that its conveyor belts and cooling system have enough room. Be certain that if you lower the machine they will still fit underneath. Otherwise, you will have to raise the machine off the ground.

    • 3). Shift the machine if needed to the left or right to make sure it balances properly on all of the floor jacks. It will be easier to level if it on all four equally.

    • 4). Adjust the three screws that hold the first jack and move it upwards or downwards, depending on the angleto which you need to move it. Tighten them and move on to the next. Repeat this until the bubble level placed on top of the machine is in the center.
