How to Water Aloe
- 1). Check the soil of the potted or outdoor Aloe vera with your finger. Push at least an inch into the soil and feel for any moisture.
- 2). If you do feel moisture, do not water the Aloe vera plant. However, if the the soil is completely dry, you can water your Aloe vera.
- 3). Give a small potted Aloe vera plant no more than a quarter of a cup of water at a time. Larger and outdoor plants can be given more. Pour the water on the soil, never on the leaves of the plant.
- 4). Wait at least two weeks between waterings, and always check the soil for moisture before adding any more water to your plant.
