How to Put a Nonported Barrel in a Glock 19C
- 1). Remove the magazine and inspect your weapon to make sure that it is unloaded.
- 2). Grasp the top of the pistol with one hand and pull down the slide-locks -- located on each side of the lower receiver above the trigger -- with your other hand.
- 3). Pull the slide back approximately 1/10 inch and then immediately push the slide forward, separating the slide assembly from the lower receiver.
- 4). Turn the slide over and lift the spring assembly off the barrel. Lift the compensated barrel out of the slide and replace it with a standard barrel.
- 5). Reassemble your pistol.
