How to Replace the Scenic Headlamp
- 1). Turn off the engine and put on the gloves.
- 2). Open the hood and remove the washer fluid reservoir by removing the black plastic clip securing it to the engine compartment. Pull the reservoir out of the vehicle.
- 3). Reach behind the headlamp assembly and remove the rubber cap by twisting it counterclockwise. The inner rubber cap houses the low beam bulb; the outer rubber cap houses the high beam bulb. Remove it from the assembly.
- 4). Pull the old bulb out of the assembly and install a new bulb in its place. Use an H7 bulb for the low beam and an H1 bulb for the high beam. Reattach the rubber cap.
- 5). Place the washer fluid reservoir back into the engine compartment and reattach its clip. Close the hood.
- 1). Turn off the engine and put on the gloves.
- 2). Open the hood and remove the three bolts securing the battery cover to the battery with a socket wrench.
- 3). Reach behind the headlamp assembly and remove the rubber cap by twisting it counterclockwise. The inner rubber cap houses the low beam bulb; the outer rubber cap houses the high beam bulb. Remove it from the assembly.
- 4). Pull the old bulb out of the assembly and install a new bulb in its place. Use an H7 bulb for the low beam and an H1 bulb for the high beam. Reattach the rubber cap.
- 5). Reattach the battery cover and its accompanying bolts. Close the hood.
