How to Destroy a Ground Cover Called Chameleon in Your Flower Beds
- 1). Dig and remove the ground cover and rhizomes continuously until you eliminate all Chameleon from the flower bed.
- 2). Pull the faded vegetation from an annual flower bed at the end of the season. Spray the Chameleon with glyphosate herbicide. Repeat the treatment at the frequency listed as safe on the product label. Do not plant anything in the bed until the Chameleon is controlled. Allow one year for that to happen.
- 3). Dig the flowers from a perennial bed. Replant them in a new area. Research the species to find out the best time of year for digging. Your county cooperative extension office or a nursery staff have the knowledge to advise you. Spray the Chameleon with glyphosate as often as it is safe, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
