How to Remove the Dash on a 1995 F150
- 1). Pull the hood-release mechanism to the left of the steering wheel. Open the hood.
- 2). Remove the battery's negative-terminal cable with a socket wrench.
- 3). Open the truck's glove box and remove all of its contents. Press in on the tabs on each side of the glove box in order to release it. Remove it from the dashboard.
- 4). Lower the truck's steering wheel as far as it can go. There is a steering wheel adjustment lever at the back of the steering wheel.
- 5). Remove the six nuts and six bolts along the edge of the dashboard, near the windshield. Once the nuts and bolts are removed, you can snap off the dashboard.
- 6). Pull on the dashboard to remove it from the vehicle. Assembly of the dashboard is the reverse of removal.
