    Increasing Thumbnail Size

    • 1). Click the "Start" button, and select "Computer" to open Windows Explorer.

    • 2). Navigate into the folder where your pictures are stored.

    • 3). Click "View" in the top menu bar, and select "Extra Large Icons." If you do not see the top menu bar, press the "Alt" key to expose it. The thumbnails should appear at their maximum size. Alternatively, hold the "Ctrl" key and scroll your middle mouse button up until the largest available size is achieved.

    Applying the Increased Size Universally

    • 1). Click "Tools" in the top menu bar of Windows Explorer, and select "Folder Options."

    • 2). Click the "View" tab in the Folder Options window.

    • 3). Click "Apply to Folders," and then click "Yes" in the confirmation window. This makes your size selections apply to all picture folders.
