How to Anchor a Suspended Ceiling to Ceiling Hangers
- 1). Measure the distance between the ceiling hanger and the hole located in the T-bracing with a tape measure.
- 2). Cut a piece of suspended ceiling wire to a length approximately 20 inches longer than the distance measured in Step 1. Use a pair of wire cutters to cut the wire.
- 3). Slide 10 inches of the wire through the eye-bolt then bend the wire down in a U-shape to hold it in place.
- 4). Slide 10 inches of the wire through the hole in the T-bracing until the wire between the ceiling hanger and the T-bracing is taut but does not lift up the T-bracing.
- 5). Wrap the 10 inches of wire that extends from the T-bracing around the wire that runs between the ceiling hanger and the T-bracing.
- 6). Wrap the 10 inches of wire that extends from the ceiling hanger around the wire between the ceiling hanger and T-bracing.
