DIY: Honda Odyssey 2005 Dash Removal
- 1). Park your Odyssey, turn off the ignition and open the hood. Remove the negative battery clamp from the terminal by loosening the nut with a wrench. Set it aside, but don't let it touch the positive terminal.
- 2). Open the front doors, and remove the bolts from both ends of the dash with a socket wrench.
. - 3). Pry up the cover from the top middle vent with a slotted screwdriver, and set it aside. Remove the bolt underneath with a socket wrench.
- 4). Open the glove box, and remove the bolts with a socket wrench. Pull out the glove box.
- 5). Unscrew four screws holding the dash panel in place near the ashtray with a slotted screwdriver. Pull it forward and unplug the wiring harness.
- 6). Locate the bolts underneath the dash and closest to the two doors. Remove these with a socket wrench.
- 7). Remove the fuse panel cover by pulling it off with your fingers. Remove the bolts on the metal plate underneath, then remove the plate.
- 8). Remove three screws under the steering column and the three screws on the steering wheel cover with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the two-part cover from the dash.
- 9). Unscrew the screws on the face of the radio and on the heater control panel with a slotted screwdriver. Reach behind this plate to disconnect the harnesses.

Unplug the wiring in the fuse panel. - 11
Locate all remaining screws and bolts still holding the dashboard to the vehicle frame, and remove them. - 12
Lower the steering wheel as far as possible. - 13
Pull the dash forward from the windshield, and push it out the passenger-side door.
