How to Install a Class D Mono Amplifier
- 1). Open the vehicle's hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- 2). Strip one end of the power wire using the wire stripper and attach the end connector. Connect the end connector to the battery's positive battery terminal.
- 3). Run the other end of the power wire to the amplifier's installation location
- 4). Strip one end of the remote turn on wire and attach it to the source unit. Run the other end of the remote turn on wire to the vehicle's installation location.
- 5). Connect one end of the the RCA cables to the source unit and run the opposite end to the amplifier installation location.
- 6). Strip one end of the ground wire and attach the and connector. Connect the ground wire to a clean section of vehicle metal within two feet of the amplifier.
- 7). Connect the ground, power and remote turn on wires to the amplifier.
- 8). Connect the RCA cables and speaker wire to the amplifier.
- 9). Reconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal.
