How to Preserve Plastic Fishing Worms
- 1). Wash the plastic worms with cool clean water as soon as possible after using them as fish bait. Remove any visible dirt from the worms by rubbing them gently under running water.
- 2). Dry the worms by blotting them on a clean towel.
- 3). Place the worms in a Ziploc bag and add a few drops of worm oil. Worm oil will lubricate the worms and prevent them from drying out.
- 4). Close the Ziploc bag and rub the outside of the bag to distribute the oil evenly on the plastic worms. Store the bag in your tackle box or a shaded area to prevent UV damage.
