Using Format Factory

• 1). Download and install Format Factory, then open the program.
  
  
• 2). Scroll through the “Video” navigation menu on the left side of the screen and select your preferred output format, such as MP4, WMV, MKV or AVI. The “All to [your chosen video format]” window will appear on the screen.
  
  
• 3). Click the “Add File” button and select the MTS file you want to convert.
  
  
• 4). Click the “Browse” button to the right of the “Output Folder” field and select an output folder for the converted file. After selecting an output folder, click the “OK” button to return to the main screen.
  
  
• 5). Click the “Start” button on the toolbar. Format Factory will convert the MTS file to your chosen video format and save it to the output folder on your PC.
  
  

Using Koyote Soft’s Free HD Converter

• 1). Download and install Koyote Soft’s Free HD Converter.
  
  
• 2). Launch Free HD Converter.
  
  
• 3). Click the “File” tab and select the “Add MTS/M2TS” option. Navigate through your folders, select the MTS file you want to convert and click “Open.”
  
  
• 4). Click the “Format” drop-down menu on the right side of the screen and select an output format such as WMV, MP4 or FLV.
  
  
• 5). Click the “Size” drop-down menu and select your preferred video resolution.
  
  
• 6). Check the box next to the “Save Here” field and select a destination folder for the converted file.
  
  
• 7). Click the “Convert” button. When the conversion process is complete, the output video file will be saved to your chosen destination folder.
  
  

Using Any Video Converter

• 1). Download and install Any Video Converter, then open the program.
  
  
• 2). Click the “Add Video” button and import your preferred MTS file.
  
  
• 3). Click the “Output Profile” drop-down menu and select an output video format.
  
  
• 4). Click the “Output Folder” button in the bottom left corner of the screen and select an output folder for the converted video file.
  
  
• 5). Click the “Convert” button on the toolbar. The MTS file will be converted to your chosen video format and saved to the output folder on your PC.
