5 Ways to Tell When Your Guy Thinks It"s True Love
I firmly believe that we are empty without true love and that, as a man, we all have a lot to thank the women of the world for.
While we might achieve most things ourselves, it is rarely without the love of a good woman pushing us along behind.
If you're a woman, how are you meant to know that your man is falling for you? 1) He Actually Cares It's obvious when a man really cares.
More than 3 SMS messages in a day is one sure-fire sign that you're always on his mind.
Does he hold doors open for you? Listen to you nattering on about your day at work? When you are done talking, will he then come back at you with a thoughtful answer? He has definitely been listening.
Does he pick up on your tone of voice? If you just have to say 'Hey' a certain way and he knows something is wrong, he's a keeper! 2) Is He Shy Around You? Whether it stems from fear of rejection or not I don't know, but a lot of guys are not comfortable sharing their true feelings.
Quite often when talking to friends I know what they mean, but have to get them to say it themselves.
I find that especially between guys, a lot of men struggle to share.
We talk about football, cars etc...
but how things are really going with the girlfriend doesn't come up that often.
It's only when things go wrong that most men will actually open up in a bid to solve the problem.
If your man is not sharing with you, it may be better than you think - he is actually not sure how to handle his emotions and express them to you.
Be patient, he will open up as the trust builds.
Try to talk to him using open-ended questions, ask him about himself and be interested in his responses.
3) Does He Want To Help You Fix Things? Has your man straightened out that picture of Aunty Mabel on your wall? Did he bring around a screwdriver to sort your leaky washing machine? If a man is investing his time in DIY on your place, he's thinking long term.
He doesn't want these niggles to get in his way when he's here.
Outside the DIY arena, maybe he is paying attention to what you say, hoping to help you solve other problems in your life.
Is he picking out ways he can help, offering his opinion on the problem or at least offering you support through tough times? If it seems as if he is of a helpful, generous nature, he's surely into you.
4) The Perfect Gentleman Manners cost nothing, be it holding open a door or sharing an umbrella in the rain.
It's not often a stranger would offer you their coat, but it's great when they do.
Someone that loves you knows how great it is, and will always be looking for little ways to make your life that bit easier.
I know it has certainly never hindered my progress to act a gentleman.
True gentlemen respect and appreciate their partners, and will do their best to display their affections.
If he is constantly complimenting you, notices when you have had your hair cut and talks softly and gently to you, it seems as though he has found true love.
A romantic evening out, surprise trip to Paris or bunch of flowers out of the blue are yet more signs that he is really falling for you.
5) He Plans For The Future When single, most men think about as far ahead as the next cup of tea.
If a man has found true love, things are different.
He will start to worry more about work...
maybe he is worrying about being able to provide for you.
Marriage, children, even talk of pets are all flags that you have taken over the man's head; he is surely in love with you.
Love is a slow-cook product.
It always takes time, even if it starts off as "love at first sight", to build up trust and security.
Be patient and you will find your true love one day.
