How to Remove the Clock on a 2006 Toyota Corolla
- 1). Sit in either of the front seats of your Corolla and locate the overhead console containing your digital clock. Locate the pry holes on each side of the clock.
- 2). Wrap some masking tape over the ends of two butter knives. This will protect your clock and plastic trim from damage while prying it out of the slot.
- 3). insert the knives on each side of the clock in the pry holes to a depth of about a half inch. Pry the clock outward gently until you hear it pop. Grab the clock with your hands to pull it out of the console.
- 4). Grip the connector wires and squeeze the release tab to disconnect the clock. Use one knife to pry apart the tabs connecting the clock to the plastic frame. Pull the clock from the frame. Store the frame in a safe place until you are ready to insert a new clock in the console.
