How to Glue Refrigerator Drawers
- 1). Remove the damaged drawer from the refrigerator.
- 2). Allow the drawer to warm up to room temperature. This helps you deal with the crack more easily.
- 3). Mix equal parts of the two parts of your clear epoxy glue in a paper bowl, using an old spatula or a plastic knife. Epoxy is an excellent glue that comes in two parts, which do not activate until they are mixed together.
- 4). Turn the refrigerator drawer over so that you are seeing it from the outside.
- 5). Spread a thin layer of epoxy glue over the crack, extending the epoxy to 1 inch on either side of the crack, and ideally 1 inch from either end as well.
- 6). Allow the epoxy to cure completely. Check the packaging to tell you how long this will take. After the epoxy has cured, return the drawer to the refrigerator so that you can use it again.
