Bissell Floor Cleaner Instructions
- 1). Lift the water tank straight up and off of the main unit and unscrew the water tank cap. Remove the insert assembly and set aside.
- 2). Fill the water tank with room temperature tap water to the fill mark. Replace the insert assembly and close the cap. Line up the guides on the water tank with the guides on the main unit and slide the water tank into place.
- 3). Plug the power cord into a working power supply and turn the power switch to "On". Wait for the "Ready" light to illuminate before using.
- 4). Turn the brush switch to "On" and use the floor cleaner as a vacuum to suck up dirt and debris from the floor. When finished, turn the brush switch to "Off" and press the release pedal, located on the swivel head. Lift the device straight up, which will leave the dirt bin sitting on the floor. Empty the dirt bin into a waste bin and then push the bin back on to the main unit until it clicks into position.
- 5). Set the floor cleaner down on the floor and began moving it in a back and forth direction over the floor, squeezing the trigger on the handle to dispense steam. Sanitize each section by holding the floor cleaner over the area for 15 seconds at a time.
- 6). Turn off the power switch and unplug the unit from the power supply. Remove the floor pad from the head carefully, as it will be hot. Empty the water tank and rinse the floor pad in warm water with mild detergent. Allow to air dry.
