How to Clean Bamboo Floors With Shark or Bissell Steam Mop
- 1). Vacuum or sweep the bamboo floors. This removes larger debris that could scuff or damage the floors.
- 2). Attach the mop pad to the steam mop. The Shark mop pad attaches onto the bottom of the steam mop using a hook and latch setup. Push down to secure it in place.
- 3). Fill the water tank. Unscrew the cap from the water tank. Set the funnel into the tank. Fill the included flask with water. Pour the water from the flask into the tank. Remove the funnel and replace the cap.
- 4). Unwrap the power cord and plug it into a power outlet. When the power light turns green, wait 30 seconds for the unit to heat up. Pump the handle several times to prepare the cleaning pad.
- 5). Move the steam mop over the bamboo floor. Pump the handle to emit more steam.

- 4). Unwrap the power cord from the steam mop and plug it into a power outlet. Wait for the ready light to come on.
- 5). Pass the steam mop over the area of the bamboo floor you wish to clean. Press the trigger to emit steam as you clean. Refill the water tank if needed.
