Plastic Flower

• 1). Snip the blooms off the plastic flowers approximately 1 inch from the bloom. Use sharp scissors.
  
  
• 2). Snip one leaf off the plastic flower using the scissors.
  
  
• 3). Remove the pen "butt" that consists of a tiny plastic plug in the top of the pen.
  
  
• 4). Apply a 1/4-inch bead of hot glue from the hot glue gun around the bottom of the bloom where it connects with the pen.
  
  
• 5). Poke the plastic stem into the hollow pen.
  
  
• 6). Hold the bloom in place for approximately two to three minutes until the glue cools and hardens.
  
  

Friendly Reminder Flag Pens

• 1). Print several messages like "Have a Great Day" or "Thanks!" onto sheets of colored paper.
  
  
• 2). Cut out the messages in the shape of 2-by-4-inch squares, making sure to keep the message centered in each square.
  
  
• 3). Squirt two 2-inch lines of white craft glue around the top of the pen.
  
  
• 4). Coil the blank 2-inch edge of the rectangle pieces of paper ten times around the top of the pen. Make sure to coil the paper until just the message remains on the remaining length of paper
  
  
• 5). Glue the outer edge of the coiled paper to the inner edge of the remaining length of paper. Hold the paper for about five minutes until the glue dries.
