Starting a Business
Ok, so many of you reading this post man already have a business, or at least have a good business idea, I'd say thats why you might be reading this now.

When I first started out I had no idea what business I wanted to be in, I just knew that I wanted to be in business for myself. Just because you have no experience in a particular business type or a particular business niche, doesn't mean that you cannot succeed on any scale that you wish. When I first starting marketing online, I had no experience in that type of business and hadn't a clue where to start. I sought many peoples advice and made many mistakes along the way, but I finally got the ball rolling. This was something that really intrigued me, setting up a business that would pay me while I slept! But something that was more important was that I believed I could succeed and I still believe today that I can scale my business and become as successful as I want to be.

Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't, your probably right!

False Illusions In Business
I want to get one thing straight now, setting up a business is NOT a walk in the park and it certainly should not be undertaken lightly. There are hours and hours of frustration and failure ahead, but one thing you can really do to keep your belief solid, is to realize that failure is a good thing. It seems absurd but the more times you failure trying to do something, the closer you get to figuring out what works! This is the way to loOK at business and that's the way it is with everything, no pain, no gain!

A pitfall that many people fall into is having this image in their mind of how their business is going to loOK and what they will earn from it. They fail to account for the many challenges that lay ahead and unfortunately, because these challenges pop up very early on, many people often get discouraged and give up on their dreams. I'm here to tell you now, if you can accept that there will be challenges ahead and lots of them, you will begin to wish for more of them, as they become opportunities for you to learn and develop and prove your worth, I mean come on, who wants to be stuck in a boring job 9-5 doing the same thing over and over and not be stretched and challenged? That's not living, its monotonous and dull to say the least.

Determination is what will help you shine through in your new business, but it must be dogged and pig-headed, you must do W.E.I.T, whatever it takes! Listen to the audiotapes, attend the seminars, fail, learn, move on.

Set up Your Business Based On Your Passion
If you can set up your business, promoting and selling something that has deeply affected you in a good way and you are 100% passionate about it, your laughing. That passion is what will pull you through the sludge of business, it will also help you enjoy the initial set up too! It will seem like a lot of fun. When you start your first business, often it will show you what you do like and what you don't, allowing you to focus later on in your business life, what you would really LOVE doing.

Here are some questions to use to help you determine what business you should go into, based on your passions:

What am I most passionate about?

What do I know about?

What do people ask me advice about?

What am I really good at doing?

What do I have experience in?

What do I think about all the time?

What do I love talking about?

If you are truly intent on setting up your own business, think about the sections of this post and ask yourself the questions, it will save you a lot of hassle later on and may even allow you to earn much more in the long term!

I would just like to ask though, what is it your passionate about? Have you set up a business with your passion at the core? Share your business with others and leave a comment!
