VSO ConvertXtoDVD 3

• 1). Download the trial version of VSO ConvertXtoDVD 3 from the AfterDawn website (see Resources). This software can encode almost any common video file to MPEG-2, build a DVD compilation and burn the converted video file to a blank DVD disc.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Setup" icon to run the ConvertXtoDVD installer. Set the region settings to designate which default settings will be adapted by the program. You can change this later within the program if you desire to use a different setup. Upon installation, you can run ConvertXtoDVD from the desktop shortcut or from the "Start" menu.
  
  
• 3). Drag your video files into the tree window or hit the "Add" button, which looks like a "plus" symbol, to add your movies to the program. If you choose the second option, you will have to browse your hard drive for the movie files. Adjust all the settings when your video file appears in the list, such as the input file type, estimated frame rate, aspect ratio, duration and stream count.
  
  
• 4). Select the output format from the list, such as NTSC and PAL region. Choose the "Audio" settings, "Subtitles" and "Video chapters." Select your "Menu" type and name your movie for easy identification.
  
  
• 5). Choose the "Encoding" tab from your project settings menu and make the necessary adjustments for your movie, such as encoding quality, target size and conversion priority. Select the "Burning" tab from the output settings menu and choose the appropriate settings for your movie project. Click the "Convert" button to start your VSO file conversion.
  
  

Light Image Resizer

• 1). Download the "Light Image Resizer" from the ObviousIdea website (see Resources) and install it in your programs folder. This application functions as a VSO image resizer and converter.
  
  
• 2). Select the photo you wish to resize and right-click on it. When the menu appears, select "Light Image Resizer" and create a profile for your image be selecting the appropriate settings.
  
  
• 3). Click on "Process" to resize and convert your image to a VSO file.
  
  

VSO Software Blu-ray Converter Ultimate

• 1). Download "VSO Software Blu-ray Converter Ultimate" from the Free Software PC website (see Resources) and click "vsoBlurayConverterUltimate_setup.exe" to run the installer.
  
  
• 2). Untick "Launch Blu-ray Converter Ultimate" and click "Finish" to complete the setup.
  
  
• 3). Go to the application folder and run "VSO-BRCU Easy Patch." Launch the program again and open the "Source" tab to load one of your movies.
  
  
• 4). Go to the "Settings" and make the necessary adjustments for your movie, such as the output profile, video quality, maximum target size and output folder.
  
  
• 5). Click "Convert" to turn your movie into a VSO file.
