Delaying Magic Jack Startup on Windows XP

• 1). Select the "Startup Control Panel" from the "Start" > "All Programs" pop-up menu. Click the "Startup (user)" tab at the top-left of the window that appears.
  
  
• 2). Click once on the "Magic Jack" text that appears in the column beneath the tab. Right-click the text and select "Disable" from the pop-up menu. Quit the program once this has been done.
  
  
• 3). Reboot the PC to start it up without the "Magic Jack" program automatically being launched.
  
  

Delaying Magic Jack Startup On Windows Vista/Windows 7

• 1). Select the "Control Panel" from the "Start" > "All Applications" pop-up menu. Click the "Performance Information and Tools" tab at the top of the window that appears.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Manage Startup Programs" button on the left side of the window.
  
  
• 3). Right-click the "Magic Jack" text that appears in the column to the right of the button. Select "Disable" from the pop-up menu.
  
  
• 4). Close the window by clicking the red "X" in the upper-right corner.
  
  
• 5). Reboot the PC to start it up without the "Magic Jack" program automatically being launched.
