How do I Loan Electronic Books?
- 1). Buy a book for the Nook that you can loan. About fifty percent of Nook ebooks can be loaned.
- 2). Go to your Nook library. Choose the book you want to loan.
- 3). Select "Lend" from the menu and choose a contact. You can also add a contact.
- 4). Submit the book loan. Your contact will now have access to the book for 14 days. If the contact does not read the book, it will be sent back to you and you will be able to loan it to someone else. If the contact does read the ebook, you cannot loan it again.
- 1). Go to Amazon's Kindle page. Select "Manage Your Kindle" from the options at the top of the page.
- 2). Sign in using your account's login and password.
- 3). Select "Register a New Kindle." Make sure that the Kindle you add has been unregistered before you share your account. Register the Kindle.
- 4). Download ebooks that have been purchased or buy new ones. Be aware that if you share Kindle registration, all books bought by you and the person with the other Kindle will be charged to the same credit card.
