Newborn monitors have genuinely changed over the years. When our kids were young there were only audio monitors around. Have you seen a few of the new monitors out currently? They also have monitors that may play your child a lullaby if they start out crying. How awesome is that? You may have it play some songs to help them go to sleep in the beginning as well. Fairly cool function.

They even have monitors now with night vision. You'll be able to turn this on in the middle of the night and basically see your baby on a video monitor within your room while their room stays entirely dark. You could see if they look comfy, if they're uncovered in the winter or even if they look hot in the summer. This provides you that additional bit of comfort to be able to check on your kid in the middle of the night without having to turn on any massive lights and either wake you up or your kid.

Lastly, they've monitors these days which have a zoom camera on them. You are able to really control the camera from your monitor. You may change exactly where the camera is pointed and you'll be able to zoom in on a particular region if you would like to. This is terrific for occasions after you see your child playing with something and you do not know what it can be. You'll be able to just zoom in the camera and see specifically what they're playing with. If it's some thing bad it is possible to go in straight away and be sure they do not get hurt.
