How to Make a Potion to Cure Vampirism in "Oblivion"
- 1). Play through the quest until the game takes you to see Melisande. She will ask you to obtain the ingredients for the potion: bloodgrass, garlic, nightshade, Argonian blood and the ashes of Hindrail.
- 2). Obtain the ingredients. Bloodgrass is found on the planes of Oblivion, marked on your in-game map. Garlic can be purchased at any food vendor in any city. Nightshade is sold at "The Main Ingredient" in the Imperial Market, marked on your map. Stabbing any Argonian with the enchanted dagger Melisande gives you will let you collect its blood. Finally, Melisande marks Hindrail's location on your map. Defeat him and loot his body to collect his ashes.
- 3). Return all of the ingredients to Melisande. She will ask you to give her 24 hours to create the potion. Press "Select" and slide the bar as far as it goes to wait a full 24 hours.
- 4). Talk to Melisande again to get two potions: one for yourself and one for the Count of Skingrad.
- 5). Open your inventory and select the potion marked "Cure for Vampirism" to drink. You will be permanently cured of vampirism. The Count's potion is marked "Vampirism Cure Potion."
