How to Disable Startup Programs on a Dell Laptop
- 1). Go to the "Start" menu and click on "Run."
- 2). Type "msconfig" in the search line and then hit "Enter" to launch the Windows System Configuration utility.
- 3). Click on the "Start-up" tab in the main window.
- 4). Click to un-check the boxes of the programs you want to remove from the start-up menu on your Dell laptop. Click on "OK" to save the changes.
- 5). Reboot your computer as prompted by the utility for the changes to take effect right away.
