    • 1). Open the glove box on the passenger's side of the Acura. Remove the glove box by removing the mounting screws with a Phillips head screwdriver. Turn the screws counter-clockwise to loosen and remove the glove box screws.

    • 2). Slide the glove box out of the compartment and set it to the side.

    • 3). Unhook the trunk opening button connector behind the glove box compartment. This will give you the room to slide the cabin air filter out of the cabin air filter housing.

    • 4). Locate the white filter compartment directly behind the glove box compartment. The cabin air filter compartment is white and square shaped with a locking latch on the bottom.

    • 5). Unlock the plastic latch on the bottom of the white housing. Remove the cover from the white filter housing.

    • 6). Slide the cabin air filter or filters straight out of the cabin air filter housing with your hands. Remove the old cabin air filter from the metal meshing that is on the bottom of the cabin air filter. You will need the metal meshing for the new cabin air filter.

    • 7). Slide the metal meshing onto the new cabin air filter or filters and slide the cabin air filter back into the white cabin air filter housing. Make sure that the air flow arrow on the cabin air filter is facing the center console.

    • 8). Latch the bottom of the cover that holds the cabin air filter into the cabin air filter housing.

    • 9). Set the glove box back into the glove box compartment and insert the screws. Turn the screws clockwise to tighten the screws. Close the glove box.
