How to Obtain the Cat Nip on FFX-2
- 1). Reach Chapter 5 through the normal storyline mode. Cat Nip only appears on a single special boss in this chapter.
- 2). Travel to Bevelle Temple and walk to the entryway. This will launch a cut scene that explains the current shape of the temple.
- 3). Walk to the room on the far right that is surrounded by Kinderguardians and enter the portal. This will transport you to Via Infinito.
- 4). Move to Cloister 40. This is where you will encounter the boss known as Black Elemental. Run away from the Tonberries and Drakes in the area if you can; they will take precious time to defeat and can be very dangerous.
- 5). Kill Black Elemental as fast as you can. Use the Dark Knight ability "Charon" and only pause your attacks to heal when necessary. If the battle lasts too long, Black Elemental will cast "Ultima" and deal 9999 damage to your party.
- 6). Take the Cat Nip dropped by Black Elemental once you have killed him. Equip Cat Nip and Trigger Happy for a series of maximum damage attacks.
